Integrating Body, Mind and Spirit
In 2003, Anusha developed a severe cyst in the throat and was struggling to speak. She was frantically searching for a doctor to heal the problem. Every doctor she consulted insisted surgery was the only option, but she was not convinced. It was then that she approached a homeopath, who upon hearing the condition, lightly replied. “ Take a few pills of homeopathic medicine and you will be healed.” She was surprised: was the homeopath understanding the gravity of the problem? It sounded too gentle, too good to be true. Within 2 months, though, she completely recovered. She could speak.

Having personally benefitted from Homeopathic treatment, she decided to become a Homeopath herself and heal patients with the gentle touch of homeopathy. Anusha has a Doctorate Degree from the British Institute of Homeopathy and the Singapore Faculty of Homeopathy. She has also completed a 4 year professional course in Homeopathy from the Texas Institute of Homeopathy. She has also been trained in the Sensation Method and attended seminars conducted by some of the world’s leading homeopathic practitioners. She has been practicing homeopathy for over 7 years.

Homeopathy is an art and a science. Homeopathy comes from the Greek words homeos, ‘similar’, and pathos, ‘disease’. Homeopathy means ‘to treat with a remedy that produces effect similar to that of the disease’.Homeopathy is a medical science developed by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843), a brilliant German physician and chemist. It is based on the principle ‘Like cures Like’ meaning that any substance, which can produce symptoms in a healthy person can also cure similar symptoms in a sick individual. This ‘Law of Similars’ was understood by Aristotle and Hippocrates and mentioned in ancient Hindu manuscripts. It was Hahnemann, however, who turned it into a science of healing.

The approach of a homeopath is distinctly different.  Viewing every patient as mind, body and spirit, homeopaths see disease to be a disturbance in the mental, emotional, or physical layers. They look into the person holistically, rather than just looking into one particular disease. Using the knowledge of the symptoms, the homeopath locates the core disturbance. By correcting this inner disturbance, homeopathy integrates the individual, hence, correcting the disease.

Anusha practices homeopathy at the Spectrum Center Houston, and in Sugar Land. For those not in the Houston Area, she conducts online consultations via Skype. She also provides free 15-minute one-on-one information sessions.
